2006 - important announcement
It is with regret that this website officially announces that 'the dEAD
eCHOES' are no more. The band have not played since June 2005
and have no plans to work together again in the near future. The
band would like to thank everybody for their support... and who knows, one
day 'the dEAD
eCHOES' may live again!
Junction
Gig - 30th June 2005
'the dEAD eCHOES' are very pleased to announce that
on the back of sell out gigs in Cambridge it is time for them to make
their debut at The Junction in Cambridge. This takes place on Thursday
30th June as part of the 'Junction Fiver' season.
A deliberate, high energy
sound is the foundation of The dEAD eCHOES' style. This is
thrillingly angular guitar music. Think The Velvet Underground
with detours via Tarantino & James Bond and you are nearly
warm. More details soon...
This is the start of good things... Long live The dEAD eCHOES.

The 2 July gig
at the The Man On The Moon was Dave

it is time to move on. Guy, Tom
and Tim wish him all the best and thank
him for being great for the past 5 years! The band have wasted
no time, and are proud to announce that James
Wreathall has been appointed new drummer. The dEAD

Charity Gig in Cambridge on Friday
- The dEAD eCHOES
and Combover (edgy,
hard guitar pop and overflowing with hooks) play
at The Man On The Moon pub in Cambridge on Friday
2nd July. All profits
from the show will go to Aspire,
a social business creating real jobs for homeless people in
Cambridge.
-
- Owen Jarvis
leads Aspire in Cambridge and says “Aspire is in name a
business. But in reality most of our income comes from funding
bodies – like the National Lottery - and, crucially, private
donations. We work with the local community in Cambridge, so it’s
great to know local bands and concert-goers are willing to help us
out. People can have a few drinks on Friday night and feel good in
the morning!”
-
- The show starts at 8pm. Tickets
are £3.50 in advance, £4 with a flyer and £5 on the door.
